Grains

OMAHA (DTN) -- After the 8:30 open, May corn is up 1 3/4 cents, May soybeans are up 4 3/4 cents, and July K.C. wheat is up 5 3/4 cents. Grains are holding early gains with help from noncommercial buying in corn and soybeans and commercial buying in winter wheat while the forecasts remain mostly dry in Argentina and the southwestern U.S. Plains. Most other commodities are also higher Tuesday after U.S. consumer prices were reported up 2.2% from a year ago, as expected.
