IOWA, Poweshiek County. A 233-acre farm sold in two tracts in an online auction for $1.9 million, or an average of $7,900 per acre. A 153-acre parcel sold for $9,000 an acre and includes 45 corn base acres with a Price Loss Coverage yield of 116 bushels per acre, 39 soybean base acres with a PLC yield of 37 bushels per acre, and five wheat base acres with a PLC yield of 38 bushels per acre. An 80-acre tract is 83% tillable with a soil rating of 52. The farm comes with a wind turbine lease.

KANSAS, Pottawatomie and Jackson counties. A 351-acre farm sold in an online auction in four tracts for $2.1 million, or an average of $6,150 per acre. The property includes a 159-acre parcel of pasture land, a 78-acre tract of hay land, a 75-acre parcel of pasture land and a 40-acre hay land tract.

NORTH DAKOTA, Wells County. A 501-acre farm sold at auction in two tracts for $981,000, or an average of $1,975 per acre. A 331-acre parcel includes 211 cropping acres and 108 pasture acres, with a soil productivity index of 57.3. The second 170-acre tract includes 146 crop acres with a soil productivity index of 61.1. The sellers retained 100% of subsurface mineral rights, and both parcels are subject to a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service wetland easement.

SOUTH DAKOTA, Brookings County. A 70-acre farm sold in two tracts at auction for $551,986, or an average of $7,886 per acre. The two parcels have a combined 61.8% soil productivity index on 44 acres of hay production and 26 acres under the Conservation Reserve Program. The farm includes 19 corn base acres with a Price Loss Coverage yield of 119 bushels per acre. The property includes two natural waterways, with the Big Sioux River less than one mile from the farm.
