ILLINOIS, Cass County. A 160-acre farm sold in two tracts at auction for $2.6 million, or an average of $16,350 per acre. The first 80-acre tract features a productivity index of 141.1 and includes some field drainage tile, as well as $13,500 worth of fall fertilizer applications. The second 80-acre property has a productivity index of 140.5, with about $7,000 in fertilizer applications.

IOWA, Lee County. A 153-acre farm sold in three tracts, including a building site, at auction for $2.1 million, or an average of $11,196 per acre on the two cropland tracts. The sale also includes a 1.5-acre homestead with a two-story home and other buildings. A 102-acre cropland site includes 98 tillable acres with terrace and tile work completed. A 50-acre tract includes 41 tillable acres along with 12 acres in the Conservation Reserve Program.

NEBRASKA, Custer County. A 1,224-acre ranch sold at auction for $3.1 million, or $2,550 an acre. The Roberts Ranch includes hard grass pasture in the heart of cattle country. The land is rated as 300 pair for the summer grazing season and is fenced and cross-fenced into about five paddocks on 1,224 deeded acres, as well as three paddocks on 635 school land leased acres.

WISCONSIN, Sauk County. A 190-acre farm sold in two tracts at auction for $1.3 million, or $6,775 an acre. The first 99-acre parcel has a creek running through it and has hunting and recreational opportunities, along with 50 tillable acres. The second 90-acre property includes 48 tillable acres and is being used for rotational grazing.
