ILLINOIS, Tazewell County. A 213-acre farm sold for $1.92 million, or $12,800 per acre, in an online auction. The farm consists of two parcels across the street from each other with mainly Ipava, Osco and Sable soils. The farm carries a productivity index of 139 and has a history of high corn and soybean yields. The property also has a post-frame shed and a 21-foot grain bin on the property, as well as several grass waterways.

MISSOURI, Lewis County. A 385-acre farm sold in seven contiguous parcels at auction for $2.02 million, or an average of $5,314 per acre. The tracts included one 10-acre lot described as a desirable building site, while the remainder consisted of tillable cropland, pasture and timber with strong hunting potential, as much of the ground borders Deer Ridge Conservation Area. The tract with the highest percentage of tillable ground sold for $7,700 per acre, while the primarily pasture lot sold for $3,450 per acre.

NEBRASKA, Cuming County. A gently rolling 230-acre farm sold for $2.83 million, or $12,300 per acre. The farm includes Nora, Alcester and Kennebec silt loam soils with an FSA corn yield of 163 bpa and soybean yield of 42 bpa. The farm was tiled in 2010 and can be accessed by an easement from the nearby homestead, or the buyer can install a culvert for access off the road. While the auction was simulcast, the majority of the bids came from the floor.

OKLAHOMA, Cleveland County. In a court-ordered auction, a 230-acre property sold for $1.4 million, or $6,087 per acre. Located at the confluence of Elm Creek and Little River northeast of Norman, the property's 3/4 mile of road frontage makes it an excellent location for future building sites, commercial agricultural production or recreational enjoyment. The largest, 120-acre tract also includes the original farmhouse, storage building, hay barn and working pens, as well as three ponds, tillable farmland and river views.
