Delaware / Maryland, Kent/Caroline counties. A property totaling 332 acres, with 230 dryland tillable acres, sold for $1.25 million. Per-acre price for the sale ranged from $1,900 for woodland to $4,600 for tillable land. Average across the entire farm is $3,765. The farm produced corn, soybeans and wheat in rotation. Kansas, Rooks County. Five tracts of cropland and grassland totaling 930 acres sold for $930,000, an average of $1,000 per acre. The property included bases in wheat and grain sorghum.
