OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 12:37 --- December corn is down 6 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 31 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 15 3/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 15 cents and December MIAX wheat is down 9 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 224.80 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.170 and November crude oil is up $0.13 per barrel. December gold is down $151.00 per ounce. Heading for the Monday finish, the grain and soy markets have been a sea of red quotes, led by soybean meal and soybeans. Nov soybeans have fallen to the lowest level since late August and spot soymeal is down over $11 per ton just since last Thursday's new high. Funds have been liquidating part of their big long, selling an estimated 10,000 corn, 13,000 beans, and 6,000 soymeal contracts. Some disappointment over the lack of tariff reduction for soybeans has been taken as bearish, but reduced tariffs on corn, wheat and other ag commodities should be bullish.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 387.83 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.220 and November crude oil is up $2.92 per barrel. December gold is down $164.00 per ounce. Grain and soy losses are mounting as the session goes on. Disappointment over the fact that soybeans were left out of the tariff reduction agreement with China has resulted in a bearish start as has rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran. Crude oil is on a march higher stoking more inflation concerns.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 353.47 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.250 and November crude oil is up $2.01 per barrel. December gold is down $149.40 per ounce. Grain and soy markets are under heavy pressure early Monday, led by soybeans and soymeal after it was revealed that a soybean tariff reduction did not include soybeans after the U.S.-China summit. A wet weekend once again stalled harvest progress in many areas of the Corn belt.
LivestockPosted 11:40 -- December live cattle are down $1.10 at $221.05, November feeder cattle are down $1.98 at $330., December lean hogs are down $0.13 at $68.9, December corn is down 6 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $9.90. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 231.21 points and the NASDAQ is down 149.83 points. New showlists for the week are lower in Texas and Kansas, but higher in Nebraska. No bids or asking prices have surfaced yet this week in the fed cash cattle market.
Posted 08:37 -- December live cattle are down $0.23 at $221.925, November feeder cattle are down $0.55 at $331.425, December lean hogs are up $0.03 at $69.05, December corn is down 6 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $8.30. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 367.26 points and the NASDAQ is down 176.58 points. Following last week's light trade in the fed cash cattle market, it will be imperative to note the morning's USDA reports to see exactly how many cattle traded and for what price. No bids or asking prices are currently noted in the cash cattle market and it's likely that trade will again be delayed until later in the week.
