OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 08:30 -- December corn is down 5 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 6 cents, December KC wheat is down 2 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 1 cent and December MIAX wheat is down 2 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 146.31 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.230 and November crude oil is up $0.56 per barrel. December gold is down $27.60 per ounce. USDA: Private exporters reported sales of 100,000 metric tons (3.9 million bushels) of corn for delivery to Mexico during the 2026/2027 marketing year. Grain and soy markets are mostly weaker to start on some optimism about peace talks.

Livestock

Posted 08:35 -- December live cattle are down $0.30 at $219.15, October feeder cattle are up $0.95 at $328.975, December lean hogs are down $0.28 at $70.725, December corn is down 6 1/2 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $1.50. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 120.96 points and the NASDAQ is down 55.99 points. No cash cattle trade has developed yet, and asking prices remain elusive. It's most likely that trade will be delayed until Thursday or Friday.
