Periodic Updates on the Grains, Livestock Futures Markets
OMAHA (DTN) -- December corn is down 4 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 2 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 3 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 2 1/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 2 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 33.42 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.080 and October crude oil is down $4.02 per barrel. December gold is up $54.00 per ounce. At mid-morning, markets have weakened with corn and beans leading the way as harvest advances in the southern belt. Wheat is also lower with the exception of MIAX. Crude oil is correcting and down $4 per barrel and with it bean oil has turned lower.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 26.19 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.090 and October crude oil is down $1.98 per barrel. December gold is up $60.20 per ounce. Soybeans and products are higher again while corn is little changed and wheat is firmer in quiet early trade. For the entire week we have not seen new China soy purchases with the Trump-Xi meeting at the White House in just 8 days.
Livestock
Posted 08:40 -- December live cattle are down $1.80 at $223.35, October feeder cattle are down $4.00 at $333.85, October lean hogs are down $0.53 at $79.075, December corn is down 1/2 cent per bushel and December soybean meal is up $2.20. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 328.09 points and the NASDAQ is down 204.84 points. The livestock complex continues to trade lower as traders need more fundamental support before they'll comfortably advance the contracts again. Still no cash cattle trade has developed.
