Periodic Updates on the Grains, Livestock Futures Markets
OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 12:43 -- December corn is down 3 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 4 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 9 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 14 3/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is unchanged. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 305.99 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.050 and October crude oil is up $2.60 per barrel. December gold is up $20.70 per ounce. Heading into the Wednesday close, wheat remains under heavy selling pressure, while corn, soybeans and bean oil are just moderately weaker and soymeal is higher. Crude oil is still sharply higher on the escalating tension in the Middle East.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 415.88 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.050 and October crude oil is up $3.48 per barrel. December gold is down $1.90 per ounce. At mid-morning, corn, wheat and soybeans have accelerated losses with wheat leading the way lower. Funds are net long a near record amount of grain and soy.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 299.52 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.140 and October crude oil is up $2.80 per barrel. December gold is up $34.90 per ounce. USDA: Private exporters reported the following sales activities: 182,880 mt (7.2 mb) of corn to Mexico for 2026/2027, 340,000 mt (12.5 mb)of soybeans to China for 2026/2027 and 100,000 mt (3.7 mb) of soybeans to unknown destinations for 2026/2027. Corn, wheat and beans are leaking lower with only MIAX wheat higher.
LivestockPosted 11:31 -- October live cattle are down $1.60 at $215.425, October feeder cattle are down $1.13 at $324.325, October lean hogs are down $1.58 at $82.675, December corn is down 4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $0.50. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 406.10 points and the NASDAQ is down 208.85 points. The livestock complex is trading mostly lower into Wednesday's noon hour as trader yearn for greater support to develop. Asking prices are noted at $225 in the South, but are not yet established in the North.
Posted 08:36 -- October live cattle are up $0.13 at $217.15, October feeder cattle are down $0.30 at $325.15, October lean hogs are down $1.03 at $83.225, December corn is down 4 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $0.70. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 273.37 points and the NASDAQ is down 78.05 points. The livestock complex is off to a mixed start at Wednesday's open as traders desire to push the contracts higher, but want to see greater fundamental support too. No cash cattle trade has developed yet and no bids are currently on the table.
