OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 12:43 -- December corn is up 8 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 29 cents, December KC wheat is up 7 3/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 9 3/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 13 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 401.23 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.270 and October crude oil is up $4.24 per barrel. December gold is down $90.20 per ounce. At midday, grain and soy markets remain sharply higher, led by beans and bean oil. Funds are massive buyers on Tuesday, adding to their bullish bet on ag commodities. Falling yields, strong demand, ongoing war premium and enhanced inflation concerns are adding to the bullish atmosphere. Corn, beans and wheat all rose to new contract highs Tuesday. Weather is undesirably hot and dry for the southern Midwest, Central Plains and Delta over the next week.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 209.51 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.210 and October crude oil is up $2.31 per barrel. December gold is down $68.60 per ounce. Corn, wheat and soybeans are all flying higher at midmorning Tuesday with soybeans leading the way up. Each of the markets have risen to new contract highs with bean oil futures also gapping higher. Falling yield ideas, strong demand, rising crude oil and continued export issues in the Black Sea are all contributing to strength.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 279.27 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.180 and October crude oil is up $2.28 per barrel. December gold is down $84.40 per ounce. USDA: Private exporters reported sales of 136,000 metric tons (5 million bushels) of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2026/2027 marketing year. Grain and soy markets are higher led by soybeans and soybean oil. Falling crop ratings and a concerning hot and dry forecast ahead, along with an EPA ruling are driving forces.
LivestockPosted 11:33 -- October live cattle are down $0.60 at $212.075, October feeder cattle are down $2.10 at $314.925, October lean hogs are up $0.13 at $83.8, December corn is up 8 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $6.20. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 405.20 points and the NASDAQ is down 234.46 points. Asking prices are noted at $225 in the South but are not established yet in the North. Packer interest is slow to develop and it's likely that trade will be delayed until later in the week.
Posted 08:42 -- October live cattle are down $1.08 at $211.6, October feeder cattle are down $1.20 at $315.825, October lean hogs are steady, December corn is up 1 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $1.40. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 263.74 points and NASDAQ is down 367.21 points. Following Monday's higher close, the livestock contracts are back to trading lower as traders need strong fundamental support if they're to continue to support the contracts. No cash cattle trade has developed at this point and no bids or asking prices have surfaced either.
