OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 10:30 -- December corn is up 7 3/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 5 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is up 6 3/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 9 3/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 8 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 331.68 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.050 and October crude oil is up $2.06 per barrel. December gold is up $43.00 per ounce. At midmorning, corn, wheat and soybeans are maintaining strength on the heels of lower corn yield and soy pod counts from the ongoing Midwest crop tour and on the continued compromised export capabilities in the Black Sea.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 421.00 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.080 and October crude oil is up $2.42 per barrel. December gold is down $18.00 per ounce. USDA: Private exporters reported sales of 150,000 metric tons (5.5 mb) of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations during the 2026/2027 marketing year. Grain and soy markets are all higher again on falling yield ideas, solid demand and Black Sea shipping issues.
LivestockPosted 11:41 -- October live cattle are up $1.83 at $219.05, September feeder cattle are up $1.00 at $330.125, October lean hogs are down $1.13 at $80.375, December corn is up 6 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $0.30. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 416.43 points and the NASDAQ is down 188.11 points. Thursday's export report shared that beef net sales of 9,300 mt for 2026 were down 36% from the previous week and 37% from the prior 4-week average. The three largest buyers were Mexico (1,600 mt), South Korea (1,400 mt) and Taiwan (1,400 mt). Pork net sales of 27,300 mt for 2026 were down 25% from the previous week and 15% from the prior 4-week average. The three largest buyers were Mexico (10,700 mt), South Korea (3,500 mt) and Japan (2,900 mt).

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 412.85 points and the NASDAQ is down 98.52 points. Following the light cash cattle trade that developed on Wednesday in the North at $355 to $356, the cash cattle market is quiet at Thursday's open. No bids are on the table but packer interest should improve throughout the day.
