OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 10:17 -- December corn is down 1 cent per bushel, November soybeans are up 8 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is down 5 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 3 3/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 3 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 158 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up .003 and September crude oil is up $0.99 per barrel. December gold is down $54.30 per ounce. At midmorning, corn and wheat have relinquished all morning gains while soybeans are still higher. Bean oil futures have made a turnaround and are trading sharply lower now. Markets had surely become overbought.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 82.82 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.000 and September crude oil is up $1.10 per barrel. December gold is down $28.50 per ounce. USDA: Private exporters reported sales of 136,000 metric tons (5 mb) of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2026/2027 marketing year. Corn, soybeans and products are higher with wheat mixed to mostly higher. Weather, declining yield ideas and geopolitical influences are driving markets higher.
LivestockPosted 11:42 -- October live cattle are up $0.80 at $219.575, September feeder cattle are up $2.23 at $335.175, October lean hogs are down $1.10 at $80.625, December corn is down 1 cent per bushel and December soybean meal is down $0.20. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 82.35 points and the NASDAQ is down 284.57 points. The bullish news that Cargill intends to restart production at their beef plant in Fort Morgan, Colorado starting the week of September 7th is helping drive the cattle contracts higher. No cash cattle trade has developed yet.
Posted 08:33 -- October live cattle are up $1.58 at $220.35, September feeder cattle are up $2.23 at $335.175, October lean hogs are down $0.25 at $81.475, December corn is up 3 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $3.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 127.55 points and the NASDAQ is down 282.00 points. News broke late Monday afternoon that Cargill is going to begin production at their Fort Morgan plant in Colorado that's been idle since May. This is having a positive affect on the cattle contracts at Tuesday's start. The plant intends to begin production on the week of September 7th.
