OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 10:33 -- July corn is up 1 1/2 cents per bushel, July soybeans are up 4 1/2 cents, July KC wheat is up 4 1/4 cents, July Chicago wheat is up 2 cents and MIAX July Minneapolis wheat is up 0.0625 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 300.25 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.170 and June crude oil is up $5.76 per barrel. June gold is down $53.90 per ounce. At midmorning spot corn and soymeal are lower, while soybeans, bean oil and wheat remain higher. Wheat has come well off the morning highs with KC threatening to trade lower. Crude oil remains sharply higher on the peace talks being put on hold.
Posted 08:32 -- July corn is up 2 3/4 cents per bushel, July soybeans are up 6 cents, July KC wheat is up 13 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat is up 9 3/4 cents and MIAX July Minneapolis wheat is up 8 3/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 123.52 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.180 and June crude oil is up $4.61 per barrel. June gold is down $60.00 per ounce. Wheat and bean oil are sharply higher with corn and beans moderately stronger to start. December corn is headed for a ninth consecutive gain but is likely to meet resistance at $5.00. Wheat continues to rise as estimates for the hard winter crop look to be sub-600 million bushels following the drought.
LivestockPosted 08:37 -- June live cattle are up $1.93 at $255.425, August feeder cattle are up $2.10 at $375.175, June lean hogs are up $0.43 at $102.4, July corn is up 2 1/2 cents per bushel and July soybean meal is up $1.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 142.40 points and NASDAQ is down 103.33 points. Following the light movement in Tuesday's cash cattle, there are currently no new bids on the table, but packer demand will improve later this week as clearly they're short bought. Some sales were marked in Nebraska yesterday as high as $400 dressed, which is $14.00 higher than the previous week's weighted average. Southern live cattle traded as high as $255, which is $9.00 higher than the previous week's weighted average.
