OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 12:47 -- March corn is steady, March soybeans are down 2 1/2 cents, March KC wheat is up 2 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 1/2 cent and MIAX March Minneapolis wheat is down 0.0375 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 455.04 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.290 and February crude oil is down $0.82 per barrel. February gold is up $47.10 per ounce. Heading for the Tuesday close, it looks like a bit of "buy the rumor, sell the fact" type action in soybeans. After a portion of the nearly 1 mmt (36 mb) of China bean purchases rumored Monday was confirmed, soybeans could not hold the gains now trading nearly a dime below the high. Corn and wheat continue to be mixed in quiet trade.
