OMAHA (DTN) -- December corn is up 2 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 1/2 cent, December KC wheat is up 3 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 2 1/2 cents and MIAX December Minneapolis wheat is up 0.0100 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 446.13 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.100 and December crude oil is up $1.22 per barrel. December gold is down $37.50 per ounce. As we head into Wednesday's close, corn, soybeans and wheat are still trading modestly higher while bean oil is now under pressure despite crude oil strength. Corn got a boost from a much larger ethanol production -- up 37,000 barrels per day to 1.112 mbd and tied for the third largest on record. Weather in South America remains favorable and soy planting is advancing quickly there.

At mid-morning, soybeans are extending gains, along with soymeal and corn, and wheat remains modestly higher. The news is quiet so far Tuesday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 30.48 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.100 and December crude oil is up $1.32 per barrel. December gold is down $43.10 per ounce. Corn, wheat and soybeans are mixed to moderately higher to begin Wednesday with very little fresh news. The meeting between Presidents Trump and Xi of China is now uncertain as China has failed to confirm, but trade representatives will meet Friday in Malaysia.
LivestockPosted 11:52 -- December live cattle are down $2.85 at $242.575, November feeder cattle are down $6.90 at $366.575, December lean hogs are down $0.58 at $82.7, December corn is up 3 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $3.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 203.15 points and NASDAQ is down 260.59 points. The cattle complex is trading lower into Wednesday's noon hour as traders are anxiously waiting to see what announcement Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins has to share later today. Still no trade has developed in the cash cattle market.
Posted 08:34 -- December live cattle are up $0.45 at $245.875, November feeder cattle are up $0.13 at $373.6, December lean hogs are down $0.30 at $82.975, December corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel and December soybean meal is steady. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 14.30 points and NASDAQ is down 39.70 points. The cattle complex is trading mixed this morning with the live cattle contracts inching higher, looking to regain Friday's close lower, but meanwhile the feeder cattle complex is trading lower. Still no cash cattle trade has developed and bids and asking prices are still both elusive.
