There are no government economic reports Monday morning, but traders will be looking at Grain Inspections at 10 a.m. CDT, any new grain or soy flash sales announced, and the Crop Progress report out at 3 p.m. CDT.

Weather

A front that has been slowly sagging southward over the weekend continues to produce areas of showers and thunderstorms across Kansas and Missouri and the surrounding areas on Monday. Another system scraping through the Canadian Prairies will bring showers there into the Northern Plains as well. And showers continue in the Southeast, too.
