Post Pullers
For a safe and efficient way to pull fenceposts, John Simcox, Wolbach, Nebraska, cut three pieces of 3/8-inch flat plate iron. One is 11 x 11 inches with a 7 1/4-inch opening in the center. A second piece is 9 x 9 inches with a 5 1/2-inch opening in the center. The third is 6 x 6 inches with a T-post-shaped opening in the middle. He welded a length of chain to each piece. That chain hooks the plate best matching the shape of the post to the loader. Simcox says his post pullers pull posts up with no problem.
