Butterfly Shade
Summer calving season can be tough for Ronnie Ragland, Ralls, Texas. Predominately a cotton and wheat farm, there are no trees for shade. Ragland thought of building shade, but it needed to be portable, as he moves his cattle to different locations. He found that shade in one of his old Husky Cotton Modular Buildings. He added "wings" on top, each extending out 14 feet from the center of the building. He also cut windows in each side of the building to enhance airflow. Bingo! Ragland created what he calls the "Butterfly Portable Cattle Shade."
