Some Areas of Canadian Prairies Still Need Rain

Widespread areas of moderate and heavy rain in darker blue shades account for more than 30 millimeters (1.2 inches) of rain in large portions of Alberta and Saskatchewan over the last week. Areas in the northwest and east were not as lucky, recording little precipitation in that time. (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada graphic)
While heavy rain moved through large portions of Alberta and Saskatchewan over the last week, the Peace region of Alberta and much of Manitoba were lacking and need more.
