An upper-level cutoff low-pressure center continues to very slowly make its way eastward across the southern tier of the country on Thursday. When combined with a front near the Ohio River, it will produce scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day for the southeastern quadrant of the country, perhaps producing some hail as well. Northern areas continue to be dry and warm.
