OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 12:48 -- July corn is down 2 cents per bushel, July soybeans are up 7 cents, July KC wheat is up 3/4 cent, July Chicago wheat is up 3 1/2 cents and July Minneapolis wheat is up 3 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 186.61 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.790 and June crude oil is up $0.21 per barrel. June gold is down $98.10 per ounce. Heading into the Thursday close, volume is lighter than normal as foreign exchanges are closed for May Day. Soybeans have made a nice recovery today on the heels of the very strong bean oil performance.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 401.70 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.760 and June crude oil is up $0.43 per barrel. June gold is down $97.10 per ounce. At midmorning, corn has given up all of its gains to trade lower, soybeans and soymeal are weak and bean oil has reversed to move higher. The wheat market remains slightly higher in very slow trade.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 162.62 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.420 and June crude oil is down $0.09 per barrel. June gold is down $85.40 per ounce. In quiet trade on the first day of May, corn is a bit firmer while soybeans and wheat gravitate around unchanged. The Trump administration has hinted that the first big trade deal could soon be announced, with rumors that it could be with India.
LivestockPosted 11:38 -- June live cattle are up $0.48 at $208.875, August feeder cattle are down $1.85 at $293.175, June lean hogs are down $0.05 at $98.225, May corn is down 3 1/2 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is down $3.10. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 153.28 points and NASDAQ is up 314.84 points. Bids of $222 live and $350 dressed are currently being offered in the Nebraska -- but following Wednesday's light trade there's been no more confirmed sales at this time. More trade will need to develop ahead of the week's end, but nothing is surfacing currently.
Posted 08:35 -- June live cattle are up $1.90 at $210.3, August feeder cattle are up $1.55 at $296.575, June lean hogs are up $0.25 at $98.525, May corn is up 3 1/2 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is down $0.60. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 189.82 points and NASDAQ is up 357.75 points. Beef net sales of 12,900 mt for 2025 were up 25% from the previous week and up 6% from the prior 4-week average. The three primary buyers were Japan (4,000 mt), South Korea (3,700 mt) and Mexico (1,400 mt). Pork net sales of 34,500 mt for 2025 were up noticeably from the previous week and up 34% from the prior 4-week average. The three largest buyers were Mexico (20,000 mt), Japan (3,500 mt) and South Korea (2,900 mt).
