OMAHA (DTN) -- May corn is up 5 1/4 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 20 cents per bushel. May KC wheat is up 7 1/2 cents per bushel, May Chicago wheat is up 3 3/4 cents per bushel and May Minneapolis wheat is up 5 3/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 1,965.78 points at 39,611.37. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.320 at 102.64. May crude oil is up $1.21 per barrel at $60.79. Nearing the close, the stock market and crude oil have surged, reversing big early losses. Grain and soy markets are getting stronger, led by beans. Word that reciprocal tariffs will be reduced to the 10% minimum during a 90-day pause for all countries but China inspired the late session rally.

The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.800 at 102.16. May crude oil is down $2.49 per barrel at $57.09. At midmorning both corn and soybeans have slipped into negative territory on the front months. Wheat is mixed while bean oil remains under pressure with the fall in crude oil. The dollar and crude oil remain sharply lower while equities now have eked out a small gain.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 362.35 points at 37,283.24. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.900 at 102.06. May crude oil is down $2.47 per barrel at $57.11. USDA reported private export sales of 198,000 mt (7.3 mb) of soybeans for delivery to unknown destinations during the 2024-25 marketing year. Grain and soy markets are mostly firmer, with the exception of bean oil, being pressured by the fall in crude oil.

Livestock

Posted 11:35 -- June live cattle are down $0.73 at $192.9, May feeder cattle are up $2.18 at $273.9, June lean hogs are up $0.48 at $90.25, May corn is down 1 1/4 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is up $3.60. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 154.23 points. Bids of $205 to $208 have surfaced in Nebraska, and bids of $200 in Texas -- but still no sales have been reported. It's likely trade will still be delayed until Thursday or Friday.

Posted 08:37 -- June live cattle are down $1.28 at $192.35, May feeder cattle are down $1.88 at $269.85, June lean hogs are down $1.23 at $88.55, May corn is up 1 1/2 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is up $3.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 209.24 points. Asking prices are now noted in the South at $208 to $210, but are still not established in the North. It's likely that the cash cattle market will wait to trade until Thursday or Friday.
