OMAHA (DTN) -- May corn is down 6 1/4 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 5 cents per bushel. May KC wheat is down 1/4 cent per bushel, May Chicago wheat is down 5 cents per bushel and May Minneapolis wheat is down 1 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 536.05 points at 41,349.62. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.120 at 103.71. April crude oil is up $0.53 per barrel at $67.08. It is a really quiet trading day with little fresh news to drive markets. Soybeans and bean oil are getting a bounce, wheat is mixed, and corn is under heavy pressure. Outside financial markets are getting a reprieve from the plunge we have seen lately.

May KC wheat is down 1/2 cent per bushel, May Chicago wheat is down 4 cents per bushel and May Minneapolis wheat is down 1 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 539.38 points at 41,352.95. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.060 at 103.77. April crude oil is up $0.38 per barrel at $66.93. At mid-morning, corn, wheat and soymeal are lower while beans and bean oil are slightly higher in quiet trade. There is very little news driving markets at the moment. Equity and energy markets are higher on a correction of the recent plunge.

The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.150 at 103.68. April crude oil is up $0.22 per barrel at $66.77. USDA: Private exporters reported the following sales activity: 218,604 metric tons (8.6 million bushels) of corn for delivery to unknown destinations for 2024-25 and 20,000 metric tons of soybean oil for delivery to unknown destinations for 2024-25. Grain markets are mixed to lower with soybeans and bean oil starting firmer following another new export sale of oil.
LivestockPosted 11:35 -- April live cattle are up $0.80 at $202.85, April feeder cattle are up $0.38 at $280.35, April lean hogs are up $0.70 at $86.325, May corn is down 7 3/4 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is down $0.90. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 477.89 points. Bids of $202 live are being offered in the South, while bids of $202 to $205 live and $320 to $322 dressed are reported in the North. Still no trade has developed at this point but is expected to break loose at any moment now. Asking prices are firm in the South at $204-plus and in the North at $325-plus.
Posted 08:35 -- April live cattle are down $0.70 at $201.35, April feeder cattle are down $0.28 at $279.7, April lean hogs are up $0.18 at $85.8, May corn is down 4 1/2 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is down $2.00. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 167.67 points. The cash cattle market still has not traded and will be a main focus point of cattlemen Friday. Asking prices are still not known in the North, but asking prices in the South are noted anywhere from $202 to $204. No bids are currently offered.
