Eggnog Ice Cream (Rachel Johnson)

Eggnog Ice Cream

This sweet, thick and creamy frozen treat will fill your family with holiday delight.

TOTAL TIME: 2 1/2 Hours

MAKES: 4-6 servings

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups eggnog

2 cups heavy cream

1 (10-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (cold)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

PREPARATION AND COOKING:

1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.

2. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker; freeze according to the machine's directions (it should achieve a soft and creamy texture).

3. Transfer ice cream to an airtight container. Cover ice cream with plastic wrap; place top on container to seal.

4. For best results, ice cream should rest in freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight.
