DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 1 cent under the December futures contract, while the DTN National Corn Index was down 6 cents at $6.83. The national average basis for soybeans was unchanged at 48 cents under the November futures contract and the DTN National Soybean Index was up 2 cents at $13.37. The national average basis for hard red winter (HRW) wheat was 2 cents stronger at 39 cents under the December futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was up 2 cents at $9.13. The national average basis for hard red spring (HRS) wheat was 4 cents stronger at 54 cents under the December futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 5 cents at $9.03.

The national average corn basis for Monday is 1 cent under the December futures, unchanged from Friday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The national average soybean basis for Monday is 48 cents under the November futures unchanged from Friday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average SRW wheat basis for Monday is 58 cents under the December futures, 4 cents weaker than Friday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average HRW wheat basis for Monday is 39 cents under the Kansas City December futures, 2 cents stronger than Friday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The national average HRS wheat basis for Monday is 52 cents under the Minneapolis December futures, 4 cents stronger than Friday's basis.
