DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was 3 cents weaker at 23 cents over the December futures contract, while the DTN National Corn Index was up 8 cents at $7.19. The national average basis for soybeans was 7 cents weaker at 3 cents over the November futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was up 69 cents at $14.91. The national average basis for hard red winter (HRW) wheat was 1 cent stronger at 41 cents under the December futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was down 1 cent at $8.86. The national average basis for hard red spring (HRS) wheat was 1 cent stronger at 54 cents under the December futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was unchanged at $8.72.

The national average corn basis for Monday is 23 cents over the December futures, 3 cents weaker than Friday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The national average soybean basis for Monday is 3 cents over the November futures, 7 cents weaker than Friday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average SRW wheat basis for Monday is 66 cents under the December futures, unchanged from Friday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average HRW wheat basis for Monday is 41 cents under the Kansas City December futures, 1 cent stronger than Friday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The national average HRS wheat basis for Monday is 54 cents under the Minneapolis December futures, 1 cent stronger than Friday's basis.
