August 2022 Handy Devices: 3-Point Sprayer

3-Point Sprayer (Ray E. Watkins Jr.)

While trying to envision how he might mount a small boom sprayer onto the tractor's three-point hitch, David Roswell, Everett, Pennsylvania, came across an unused round bale spike. He cut the main spike, the two lower spikes left to hold the sprayer. The sprayer is held onto the spikes with a pair of hose clamps, attaching base legs to spikes.
