DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 10 cents under the March futures contract, while the DTN National Corn Index was at $5.79. The national average basis for soybeans was unchanged at 45 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was at $13.11. The national average basis for hard red winter (HRW) wheat was 9 cents stronger at 7 cents under the March futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was at $7.84. The national average basis for hard red spring (HRS) wheat was 6 cents stronger at 24 cents under the March futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was at $9.44.

The national average corn basis for Monday is 10 cents under the March futures, 1 cent stronger than Thursday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The national average soybean basis for Monday is at 45 cents under the March futures, 2 cents stronger than Thursday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average SRW wheat basis for Monday is at 38 cents under the March futures, 6 cents stronger than Thursday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average HRW wheat basis for Monday is at 7 cents under the Kansas City March futures, 9 cents stronger than Thursday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The national average HRS wheat basis for Monday is at 24 cents under the Minneapolis March futures, 6 cents stronger than Thursday's basis.
