DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 17 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was down 7 cents at $5.15. The national average basis for soybeans was also unchanged at 47 cents under the November futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was down 21 cents at $11.77. The national average basis for HRW wheat was 3 cents weaker at 20 cents under the December futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was down 15 cents at $7.28. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 5 cents weaker at 23 cents under the December futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was down 10 cents at $9.62.

The national average corn basis for Thursday is 17 cents under the December futures, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The national average soybean basis for Thursday is at 47 cents under the November futures, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT

The national average SRW wheat basis for Thursday is at 51 cents under the December futures, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average HRW wheat basis for Thursday is at 20 cents under the Kansas City December futures, 3 cents weaker than Wednesday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The national average HRS wheat basis for Thursday is at 23 cents under the Minneapolis December futures, 5 cents weaker than Wednesday's basis.
