INDIANA, Union County. An 805-acre farming operation sold at auction for $6.38 million. Price per acre averaged $7,926. Known locally as the Hunt-Johnson Farms, the land was owned by the same family for four generations. The property, described as "high-quality cropland with barns and bins," sold in 11 tracts. Seven bidders bought the property, four of them area farmers and three investors.
