DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 18 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was up 1 cent at $3.70. The national average basis for soybeans was 1 cent weaker at 81 cents under the November futures contract and the DTN National Soybean Index was down 3 cents at $8.31. The national average basis for HRW wheat was unchanged at 27 cents under the December futures contract, and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was unchanged at $3.79. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 1 cent stronger at 42 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 1 cent at $4.88.

The DTN national average corn basis for Thursday is at 18 cents under the December futures, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The DTN national average soybean basis for Thursday is at 81 cents under the November futures, 1 cent weaker than Wednesday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:

The DTN national average SRW wheat basis for Thursday is at 15 cents under the Chicago December futures, 1 cent stronger than Wednesday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The DTN national average HRW wheat basis for Thursday is at 27 cents under the Kansas City December futures, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The DTN national average HRS wheat basis for Thursday is at 42 cents under the Minneapolis December futures, 1 cent stronger than Wednesday's basis.
