ARKANSAS, Chicot County. Acreage totaling 1,170, with 1,120 precision-leveled and irrigated acres of cropland, sold for $5.21 million, or $4,450 per acre. The land was mostly clay soils and included 12 electric irrigation wells. Crop history includes corn, soybeans and rice. Contact: Cole Fields, BrokerSouth Ag Investments;; 318-512-5325;

GEORGIA, Miller County. Property totaling 236 acres sold for $1.05 million, or $4,449 per acre. The land included 150 acres of irrigated cropland and 51 acres of dry row-crop land. Two center pivots and 14 towers were included. The property sold to the farmer who has been working it for the past 16 years. It includes a 118-acre peanut base. ILLINOIS, Marion County. Property totaling 705 acres sold at auction for $3.29 million, or $4,673 per acre. Of the total, 513 acres were tillable with an average PI rating of 101.7. The property also included timberland. Known as the Borden Farm, the operation began in 1942. Some of the original outbuildings remain and were part of the sale. IOWA, Marshall County. Two 80-acre parcels in a competitive farming area sold at auction. The first parcel, with a CSR2 soil rating of 97.2, sold for $1.06 million, or $13,200 per acre. The second parcel, with a CSR2 of 93.2, sold for $936,000, or $11,700 per acre. Active bidding at the auction from both farmers and investors played a role in the strong price. KANSAS, Norton and Decatur counties. Two tracts of farmland totaling 480 acres sold in an absolute auction for $516,000, or $1,075 per acre. Cropland acres across the property totaled 205, grass acres 248. It was noted that the pasture had excellent winter protection for livestock, as well as two solar wells and a windmill. KENTUCKY, Breckinridge County. A 646-acre farm sold in absolute auction for $2.26 million, or $3,496 per acre. The property sold in 28 parcels. MINNESOTA, Mahnomen County. Farmland totaling 433 acres sold at auction for $1.52 million, or $3,500 per acre. The land was available to be farmed in 2019 and has a Soil Productivity Index of 84.9. OHIO, Hardin County. Tillable farm ground totaling 187 acres sold in two tracts at auction for $1.63 million, or $8,700 per acre. Terms of the sale include repayment to the estate for the cost of fertilizer applied for 2019 crops of $10,800. The land was open to be farmed in 2019.
