Commodities Market Impact Weather
Minimal Brazil Rain
OMAHA (DTN) -- Only light to locally moderate rain over most of Brazil's crop areas, and variable precipitation in Argentina, are the key weather items for the commodity trade's attention Friday.
MIDWEST RAIN AND SNOW
The DTN ag weather forecast calls for a winter storm to move through the Midwest during the weekend. Rain, mixed precipitation and snow will cause transportation delays. Meanwhile, northern areas will have several rounds of intense cold wave through the seven-day period.
BRIEF SNOW FOR SOUTHERN PLAINS

In the Southern Plains, the pattern remains favorable for overwintering wheat. There is no damaging cold weather in sight. A brief round of snow during the coming weekend shows little threat to livestock.
MOSTLY LIGHT RAIN IN BRAZIL
South-central through northeastern Brazil will see light to moderate rain through the weekend. Hotter and drier conditions return next week. There is little easing of dryness stress to the soybean crop.
MIXED RAIN IN ARGENTINA
In Argentina, central and southern crop areas have periodic rounds of rain with generally mild weather; conditions remain mostly favorable. Northern areas have lighter rains, easing flood conditions.
