Argo Spot Price at One-week High after Ethanol Stock Draw
Spot ethanol prices in the United States were flat to higher early Wednesday afternoon following data released by the Energy Information Administration showing a second straight weekly draw through May 11 in nationwide inventory to a 21.5 million bbl four-week low.
In physical trade, prompt delivered ethanol at the Kinder Morgan-operated Argo terminal in Chicago gained 0.5 cent to a $1.4650 per gallon one-week high while any-month was indexed at $1.4725 per gallon. Ethanol for this week shipment under Rule 11 rail terms traded at $1.48 per gallon, up 0.25 cent.
