DTN Daily Basis Comments
Corn, Soybean Basis Levels Hold Steady
The national average basis for corn was steady at 31 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was up 5 cents at $3.25. The national average basis for soybeans was also steady at 68 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was up 6 cents at $9.24. The national average basis for HRW wheat was 1 cent stronger at 42 cents under the March futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was up 11 cents at $3.91. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 2 cents stronger at 17 cents under the March futures contract and the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 6 cents at $5.91.

SOYBEANS:The DTN National Soybean Index for Wednesday indicated a national average basis of 68 cents under the Chicago March futures contract, unchanged from Tuesday's basis.
SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Soft Red Winter Wheat Index for Wednesday indicated a national average basis of 30 cents under the Chicago March futures, unchanged from Tuesday's basis.
HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index for Wednesday indicated a national average basis of 42 cents under the Kansas City March futures contract, 1 cent stronger than Tuesday's basis.
HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index for Wednesday indicated a national average basis of 17 cents under the Minneapolis March futures contract, 2 cents stronger than Tuesday's basis.
