DTN Daily Basis Comments
Corn, Soybean Basis Levels Strengthen
The national average basis for corn was 1 cent stronger at 31 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was unchanged at $3.20. The national average basis for soybeans was 2 cents stronger at 68 cents under the March futures contract and the DTN National Soybean Index was up 4 cents at $9.18. The national average basis for HRW wheat was 1 cent stronger at 43 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was down 4 cents at $3.80. The national average basis for HRS wheat was unchanged at 19 cents under the March futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was down 3 cents at $5.85.

SOYBEANS:The DTN National Soybean Index for Tuesday indicated a national average basis of 68 cents under the Chicago March futures contract, 2 cents stronger than Monday's basis.
SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Soft Red Winter Wheat Index for Tuesday indicated a national average basis of 30 cents under the Chicago March futures, 1 cent stronger than Monday's basis.
HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index for Tuesday indicated a national average basis of 43 cents under the Kansas City March futures contract, 1 cent stronger than Monday's basis.
HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index for Tuesday indicated a national average basis of 19 cents under the Minneapolis March futures contract, unchanged from Monday's basis.
