DTN Daily Basis Comments
Corn and Soy Basis Steady
The national average basis for corn was unchanged at 45 cents under the December futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was down 2 cents at $3.08. The national average basis for soybeans was unchanged at 76 cents under the November futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was down 6 cents at $8.83. The national average basis for HRW wheat was unchanged at 77 cents under the December futures contract, while the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was down 6 cents at $3.76. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 1 cent stronger at 48 cents under the December future contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was down 4 cents at $5.97.

SOYBEANS:The DTN National Soybean Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 76 cents under the Chicago November futures contract, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Soft Red Winter Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 44 cents under the Chicago December futures, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 77 cents under the Kansas City December futures contract, unchanged from Wednesday's basis.
HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:The DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index for Thursday indicated a national average basis of 48 cents under the Minneapolis December futures contract, 1 cent stronger than Wednesday's basis.
