Light rain is in store for portions of the far Southern Plains, Delta and Canadian Prairies Tuesday. Other primary crop areas will be dry. The pattern becomes more active with showers and thunderstorms building in the western Midwest and expanding in the Prairies Tuesday night. Temperatures will be seasonal in the Midwest, and hot in the western Plains.

Markets

Soybeans could see typical Turnaround Tuesday action as both it and the corn market near normal, short-term seasonal tops. Financial markets could remain choppy ahead of Chairman Yellen's speech scheduled for Friday. Technical factors should continue to drive the energy complex.
