Egg, Bacon, Tomato Pie

This easy-to-make pizza is loaded with the familiar flavors of the morning. This is how you truly enjoy pizza for breakfast.

TOTAL TIME: 20 minutes

MAKES: 2 pizzas

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup warm water

1 (6.5-ounce) box pizza crust mix (such as Betty Crocker)

Nonstick cooking spray

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 large eggs

Salt and pepper

4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled

6 cherry tomatoes, halved

Fresh parsley (optional)

PREPARATION AND COOKING:

1. Follow package instructions using water and pizza crust mix to create dough; let rest 5 minutes.

2. Preheat oven to 350°F; coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Divide dough into two equal pieces; gently press into two round crusts about 1/2-inch thick. Brush dough with oil.

4. Arrange cheese evenly over dough. Crack 1 egg directly onto each pizza; top with bacon and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Bake 13 to 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown and egg is cooked to your liking.

6. Garnish with fresh parsley; serve.
