After years of lifting heavy ramps on his trailers, Chester Kimber, Amistad, New Mexico, found a way to give his back a break.

He built a winch-and-pulley system -- pulley mounted to the top of a 5-foot pipe -- to lift the ramp. His Handy Device is portable, too. It can be moved to both sides of the trailer to lift both ramps one after the other.
