KANSAS, Wallace County. A 960-acre farm with irrigated dryland, grass, CRP and a farmstead, sold at absolute auction in one piece for $3.264 million. Average per-acre price was $3,400. At the time of sale, there were 284 acres planted to dryland wheat. Buyer was to receive landowner's third share of the crop and pay landowner's third share of fertilizer expenses. Seller retained 100% of the 2022 corn and pinto bean crops. The property held base acres in wheat, corn and grain sorghum.
