Handy Devices
December 2022 Handy Devices: Easy Gates
When sorting cattle or carrying bales into the feedlot, Gary Kriley, Esbon, Kansas, needed a quick way to temporarily keep the gate open or closed. He did this by welding old bolts, 2 or 3 inches long, onto his feedlot and sorting facility fencing. With the bolts in place, he can quickly loop a chain over them to hold gates open or closed.
