Progressive Agriculture Safety Day Program
Day of Giving: Join Us in Helping to Keep the Next Generation Safe
For 28 years, we have worked to make farm, ranch and rural life safer and healthier for all children through the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day(R) (PAF Safety Day) program. This month, we hope you will help us continue to work toward our mission on the Foundation's Day of Giving, Wednesday, Sept. 21. Aligning with National Farm Safety and Health Week's "Safety and Health for Youth in Agriculture" day, our Day of Giving is a time to celebrate the incredible story of the PAF Safety Day program -- past, present and future.
Each September since 1944, when United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt proclaimed the first National Farm Safety and Health Week, farm safety and health partners from across the nation have joined forces to bring awareness to the risks in the agriculture industry and provide educational opportunities.
This year, the week is scheduled for September 18-24, with each day highlighting a different area of the industry.
