We'd Like To Mention

Gregg Hillyer, the Editor-in-Chief of this magazine, has for more than a decade carried on and expanded Progressive Farmer's history of service to America's farm families. He has provided nearly four decades of leadership and service to agricultural journalism.

Those works were recognized recently when Hillyer was awarded the Reuben Brigham Award from ACE, the Association for Communication Excellence.

Chris Moran, ACE member from the University of Florida, said he nominated Hillyer for his long record of award-winning writing and photography, and for "his devotion to eliciting the same from so many others." He was also nominated "for his servant's heart."

If you've had the pleasure to meet Hillyer throughout his travels, I'm sure you've recognized those attributes. We're certainly proud ACE recognized them, as well.
