Whether you are hitting the trails or zipping around the farm, always remember to follow and obey the ATV Safety Institute's Golden Rules when operating an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) or utility terrain vehicle (UTV).

ATV and UTV safety continues to remain one of the most offered topics during the nearly 400 Progressive Agriculture Safety Days hosted annually throughout North America. At a local Safety Day, participants learn about safe riding and operating practices.

One Size Does Not Fit All:

It is important to select the correct size ATV or UTV for both the age and size of the rider.

The Importance of Being Rider Active:

The center of gravity and weight distribution play a vital role in maintaining the vehicle's stability.

Wearing a Department of Transportation (DOT)-compliant helmet, personal protective equipment (PPE) and appropriate riding gear can work to keep you safe.
