ILLINOIS, Marshall and Stark Counties. Four parcels totaling about 369 acres sold at auction for $4.18 million. The farm was mostly tillable, with income to the buyer from wind turbines. INDIANA, Benton County. Tillable farmland with wind turbine income totaling 105.5 acres sold in two tracts for $996,975. The 40-acre tract without wind turbines sold for $385,000, or $9,625 per acre. The 65.5-acre tract with the turbines sold for $628,800, or $9,600 per acre. Both tracts sold to an investor. IOWA, Grundy County. Three tracts of farmland totaling about 361 acres sold at auction for $4.25 million. Tract prices ranged from $11,400 to $12,300, with an average price across the whole acreage of $11,779. The farm included top-quality soils, all tracts with a CSR2 between 92 and 94. LOUISIANA, Franklin Parish. About 30 acres of farmland sold for $130,612, or $4,353 per acre. This was a level tract used to grow sweet potatoes, wheat and cotton.
