IOWA, Franklin County. After a brief listing period, 80 crop acres sold for $880,000, or $11,000 per acre. Almost all of the acreage was tillable with an average CSR2 rating of 95.33. KANSAS, Thomas County. Two tracts of irrigated farmland totaling 472 acres sold at auction for $1.76 million. Tract prices ranged from $3,600 to $4,000, with an average across the total property of $3,731. The sale included royalty income. LOUISIANA, Franklin Parish. A 100%-leveled farm totaling 1,061 acres sold for $5.04 million, or about $4,754 per acre. The irrigated property consisted of 1,009 cropland acres and 11 irrigation wells. Soils were Macon Ridge silt loam, and the farm had an excellent yield history on corn and soybeans. MINNESOTA, Clay and Norman Counties. Highly productive Red River Valley cropland based across two counties and totaling 5,100 acres sold at auction for $20.63 million, or $4,045 per acre. The land was used to grow corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, sugar beets and sunflowers. Soil productivity index across most of the acreage was near 90.
