Deere Introduces New Combine
John Deere Unveils New T6 800 Walker Combine
CHELSEA, Ala. (DTN) -- John Deere on Monday introduced its new T6 800 walker combine. The T6 800 comes in addition to the S7 Series of combines introduced late winter this year.
The T6 800 walker combine includes many features from Deere's X9 and S7 Series combines with integrated precision ag technology, a larger and quieter cab, and an increased unloading rate.
The T6 800's feeder house is engineered to the same width as the rest of the crop channel, eliminating flow restrictions throughout the combine.
The T6 800 walker combine also has these features:
-- John Deere PowerTech PSS 9L engine (Final Tier 4); 402 horsepower/211-gallon fuel/12.6-gallon diesel exhaust emissions (DEF).
-- 23% larger grain tank.
-- 20% faster unloading (4.3 bushels per second).
-- 6% efficiency gain.
-- Adjustable spout.
-- HillMaster leveling technology with a compensation of up to 22% incline is available, providing more confidence on steep slopes with better harvesting results.
-- Cab/control center includes StarFire 7500 integrated receiver, G5Plus CommandCenter display (hi-def, 12.8 inches), and JDLink modem.
-- Option to equip the combine with the G5Plus extended monitor (control more functions simultaneously, such as AutoPath, Machine Sync or Grain Sensing).
-- Automation options include ground speed automation (maintain a consistent feed rate by automatically adjusting the combine's ground speed based on operator inputs and variables such as grain loss, engine power and rotor pressure); terrain settings automation (stable cleaning shoe performance by automatically adjusting cleaning fan speed, and chaffer and sieve openings based on combine fore/aft pitch).
