IOWA, Clinton County. A 371-acre farm sold in five tracts at auction for $4.1 million, or an average of $12,180 per acre. The property includes a 109-acre parcel with a soil rating of 79.1 on 102 cropland acres, along with pattern tile. The farm also includes three cropland tracts of 70, 75 and 76 acres, with soil ratings ranging from 84.3 to 84.6. A fifth 40-acre parcel includes 38 acres of cropland and 3 acres in the Conservation Reserve Program, along with a pattern tile. The amount of tillable ground on the tracts ranges from 86% to 97%.

MINNESOTA, Kandiyohi County. A 36-acre farm sold at auction for $193,800, or $5,395 per acre. The property is a mix of recreational and cropland, with 18 tillable acres with a crop productivity index of 67.5. The farm includes hunting, hiking, trail riding and camping possibilities, along with mature timber throughout the property.

NEBRASKA, Holt County. A 160-acre pasture sold at auction for $424,000, or $2,650 per acre. The property is described as a productive hay meadow with both upland and sub-irrigated forage. The farm includes a spring-fed pond, protection and perimeter fencing suitable for livestock grazing.

SOUTH DAKOTA, McCook County. A 226-acre farm sold at auction for $2.9 million, or $12,655 per acre. The property includes 150 acres carrying an 82% soil productivity index and higher, with an overall rating of 78%. The Farm Service Agency reports a total of 219 cropland acres with 108 corn base acres and a 173-bushel Price Loss Coverage yield and a 108-acre soybean base with a 37-bushel PLC yield.
