OMAHA (DTN) -- After the 8:30 open, May corn is down 1/2 cent, May soybeans are up 4 1/2 cents, and July K.C. wheat is down 6 3/4 cents. Soybeans are off to a higher start this week with Argentina facing another forecast of mostly dry weather this week. May soybean meal is trading up $3.70 with signs of commercial buying. At 8 a.m. CDT, USDA said 4.85 million bushels (132,000 mt) of U.S. soybeans were sold to unknown destinations and 120,000 mt of U.S. soybean meal were sold to Spain, both for 2017-18.
Posted 19:05 (03/25) -- Grains are green to start Sunday’s overnight session, with wheat and soybeans up 3 cents and corn showing a 2-cent rally. Energies are also rallying, though gold is off about $1.50. DJIA futures are 58 points higher, as global markets set sail on what is expected to be another volatile week.
